We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Data Warehouse Tester QA to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and performance of our data warehouse systems. This role requires a deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, SQL, ETL processes, and QA best practices.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for data warehouse systems.Validate ETL processes to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and performance.Perform data validation and verification across various stages of the data warehouse.Identify, document, and track defects and inconsistencies in data processing.Collaborate with development, data engineering, and business intelligence teams to resolve issues.Ensure compliance with data governance and quality standards.Conduct performance testing to assess system reliability and efficiency.Utilize SQL for querying databases and performing data analysis.Generate test data and prepare datasets for testing scenarios.Provide detailed documentation of test results, defects, and corrective actions.Participate in requirement reviews and provide input on testability and quality.This is a 100% remote position.
- 6+ years as Tester QA
- 3+ yeats with experience in Data Warehouse testing
- Experience testing data flows, data transformations
- Fluency in SQL queries
- Exposure to Airflow DAGs, process flows
- Experience testing BI dashboards, graphs, reports, extracts.
- Financial application knowledge – chart of accounts, debit, credit, securities, trading, security master, equity, fixed income, currency, FX rates, Market Prices.
