The Mercedes-Benz Tech Center China is the new R&D site of Mercedes-Benz in Beijing.
In an integrated campus concept together with the pilot plant, test track and BBAC test benches, we installed an all new R&D Test Center for testing in new energy vehicles technology, powertrain and chassis, emission and in-vehicle air quality, to adapt our products perfectly to market specific requirements and to fulfill highest customer expectations.
Our new testing facilities enables us to develop and test electric and engine drive systems for next-generation NEV's locally in China.
We, as Mercedes-Benz R&D Tech Center Team are now looking for a Drive Systems Test Lab Engineer for E-Drive and EDU with the following job objectives:
· Leading test bench specification according to MB test requirements
· Installation, commissioning of test bench and organizing test bench acceptance tests
· Test programming and adjustments of sophisticated calibration
· Testing parts(cables, screws, adaptors…), small devices ordering and management
· Preparation, execution and operation tests according to testing plan
· Elaborate new testing concepts and implement new testing technologies accordingly.
· Evaluation, plausibility checks and interpretation of complex tests and experiments, failure analysis and diagnostics.
· Guarantee qualitative precision of measurements in alignment with headquarter in Germany.
· Ensure state-of-the-art technology and expertise.
· Laboratory daily management
· Support development of test order system (TLP), and do implementation and maintenance for daily use
· Test documentation, like instruction, operation manual, test report, and others for QM audit
· Support external institutes for testing setup, commissioning and troubleshooting
Qualifications
Qualifications - what you bring on the table: · Technical certification or university degree for automotive/electrical engineering or related engineering background
· At least 3 years experiences on test lab operation in e-drive, EDU or engine Labs
· Professional English skills in technical terms, german skills appriciated
· Communication skills with various hierarchy levels and different cultural background
· Customer oriented
· Strong problem solving abilities
· Self-responsible working attitude and initiative
· Experienced in knowledge of automotive key drive systems components especially electric Drive System of EDU, Battery and HV-System
· Familiar with operating with E-Drive and EDU test bench automation system, e.g. PUMA, K&S Tornado
· Familiar with AVL, Vector & ETAS application tools, e.g. CAMEO, INCA, CANoe, CANape, IndiCom with different HW & SW version
· Knowledge of lab quality management system, ISO 90001, CMA and CNAS
