You will be the Project Engineer authority for diverse control systems, MicroSCADA and Telecommunications engineering projects in Power Grids, Argentina. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery for multiple projects on time, within budget, and in line with contract specifications and relevant quality and safety guidelines.
Your responsibilities
Making technical recommendations in the Telecommunications and System Controls (SCADA) design, testing, installation, and commissioning phases of projects, enhancing customer satisfaction by providing excellent service.
Supporting contract managers with claims, customer specifications and safety standards as well as technical details, costs, and deliverables for sales proposals.
Providing the cost:effective execution of project Telecommunications and System Controls deliverables in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, schedule, and safety requirements.
Maintaining a strong network of engineering professionals, sharing engineering best practice across different projects and disciplines to support the development of junior colleagues.
Creating and delivering scope:specific work plans and budgets, alongside risk assessments.
Developing your leadership skills by working with entry:level engineers, technicians and support teams.
Developing, selecting and applying standard techniques, procedures and tools, reporting inefficiencies and identifying improvement opportunities.

Your background
A Bachelors degree in Telecommunications, Information Systems, Electronics or similar field.
More than 3 years experience in a Telecommunication Systems/Project Engineer role, working with Design Telecommunications Systems / FAT and SAT / ABB Products. SDH, PDH, DWDM, TCP/IP, MPLS:TP, Wireless, CCTV, PBX, Fiber:Optic, MW, PLC, Teleprotection, NMS, SNMP, etc.
Sound knowledge of engineering techniques, processes and tools, including electric SCADAs and telecommunications systems.
Strong commitment to safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines.
A high level of self:motivation, curiosity and desire to learn about new technologies.
A collaborative approach to working, demonstrating strong communication and leadership skills.
