Electrical Superintendent Our client, a prominent manufacturer of building materials renowned for their structural products, is dedicated to ensuring both product quality and availability. This role is ideal for candidates with extensive experience in industrial maintenance and troubleshooting within a manufacturing or light industrial environment. Identify and evaluate new technologies to meet automation needs.Train plant maintenance technicians on troubleshooting PLC and related systems.Display a positive attitude towards work and maintain positive working relationships with others.Conserve maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies efficiently to accomplish job results.Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing technical publications, and establishing personal networks.Perform other duties as required/assigned, which may include assignments in job classifications and departments other than the primary assignment.Assist in directing hourly maintenance employees.Skill Set: Degree, Diploma, or documented training in an electrical field from an accredited college or trade school highly preferred.Minimum of 5 years direct work experience in electrical maintenance in a manufacturing environment, including experience with PLC, VFD's, DC Drives, and Induction heating units preferred.Proficiency with Allen-Bradley ControlLogix PLC and HMI programming software, as well as Allen-Bradley and related programming software.Experience with PLC communication and networking over Ethernet.Ability to develop/write PLC and HMI programs for new equipment and optimize existing control programs to enhance machine performance.Experience with material handling and conveyance systems.Experience with overhead AC and DC cranes.Ability to provide design reviews and feedback for improvements in manufacturability.Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.Consistent, full-time onsite attendance according to the posted schedule is essential for this role.Lead and promote health and safety work practices as required by regulatory agencies and company policy.About Blue Signal: As an award-winning executive search firm, Blue Signal has a strong track record of placing top talent in the manufacturing & industrial space, with expertise in manufacturing leadership, engineering, supply chain, and logistics roles.
