Electronic Technician

Description : Our enterprise seeks candidates for an Electronic Technician III in the Instrumentation Support Department.

Characteristic duties:

Develop and applies the skills and expertise to routinely diagnose causes for malfunctions in
complex electronic equipment.

Plans the construction, installation, maintenance and repair of technical equipment with work
assignments and guidance received from supervisors and automated work order system.

Maintains procedures, technical files, circuit diagrams, parts lists, inventory records,
maintenance records, and equipment logs as necessary, and provides limited work supervision of shop
subordinate.

Designs, constructs and tests electronic systems, components, and equipment as needed and provides
solutions to problems in situations that are atypical or occur infrequently.

Performs physical duties such as installation of conduits, cable pulls, and equipment wiring as
needed for the installation of new equipment or equipment relocations.

Communicates moderately complex technical information within the team, through written records,
mechanical drafting, and verbal suggestions.

Procures materials, parts, components, and systems as needed for projects and to replenish shop
inventories.
