The Fashion Coordinator is responsible for accessorizing all photography with seasonally current merchandise; working with Art Directors to review concept and styling direction; working cross functionally with buyers, vendors and other partners to secure merchandise and provide appropriate merchandise to Stylists.
Essential Functions:
Acts as a resource to Art Directors, Photo Coordinators, and Fashion Stylists regarding brand right styling and prop choices
Works alongside Senior Marketing Brand Manager and Lead Fashion Stylist to ensure studio teams (on staff and freelance) are up to date and aware of brand standards
Organizes, updates and maintains brand specific props for use both in studio and on location
Provides accessorization services for any fashion project;
Works with Art Directors and Stylists to determine accessorization needs per assignment to include all fashion pieces and any product piece that includes on-figure talent
Makes accessorization decisions for each project via merchant or outside purchase
Works with buying office and vendors on regular basis to acquire prop shoes, apparel and accessories
Attends all preview & turn in meetings for fashion projects as assigned by Lead Fashion Coordinator
Review & propping of all key organizational inititaives and on-figure stying needs
Key orginational intiatives and on-figure styling needs are reviewed to ensure they are brand right
All on-figure shots in need of propping are reviewed, and propped as assigned
Shot documents are created with propping/styling direction as assigned
Media channels responsible for styling/propping as assigned: Print, Broadcast, Social, Assets
Organizes and tracks prop merchandise for fashion shoots
Resolves any accessorization issues with merchandise prior to photography to minimize photo reshoots
Reviews all accessories for projects with Art Directors, Producers & Stylists
Labels all prop merchandise to ensure accuracy of usage for photography
Packs all prop merchandise to be sent out for photography shoots
Responsible for studio styling room—maintaining prop merchandise, ensuring organization, and updating prop needs seasonally
Maintains current usability of props
Purchases supplies for prop storage area and dressing room

Minimum Education & Experience:
Associates or Bachelor’s Degree, or 1-2 years of related experience or training
2+ years of fashion experience
Working knowledge of current fashion trends with strong sense of style that can be applied to accessorization functions
Preferred Education & Experience:
Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in fashion and/or marketing, or 1-2 years of related experience or training
Knowledge / Skills Requirements:
Excellent organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Must be a self-starter, able to work at a fast pace under tight deadlines with a high rate of accuracy
Proficient with PC and MAC
Demonstrated ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where limited direction or standardization exists.
Able to work collaboratively with many different internal and external business partners.
