DescriptionROSEN BAI, based in Buenos Aires seeks to employ an In-Line Inspection Services Field Service Technician to conduct pipeline inspections throughout Argentina and the South America Region. The successful candidate will operate ROSEN's in-line inspection equipment while in the field and will be responsible for launching and receiving the tool on the job site in accordance with established quality control procedures.
Main responsibilities
This In-Line Inspection Field Service Technician will provide exceptional customer service, maintain a flexible work schedule, and use independent judgment and reasoning.The successful candidate will be responsible for:Receiving inspection survey assignments and communicating with the Field Service Coordinator for assignment details.Facilitating all pre-job safety meetings with the clients and contractors.Performing site visits and briefings with the client onsite representative to clarify the inspection run circumstances, especially the launching and receiving as well as the pig tracking and marking procedures when applicable.Launching and receiving the inspection tool in accordance to the client's specifications.Assessing the tool condition and perform reconditioning when applicable.Validating the survey data and check for completeness and whether the quality is sufficient for data processing. RequirementsThe successful candidate should have the minimum qualifications and/or skills:High School Diploma. Associates degree in electronics or mechanical discipline (Preferred)Experience with PAUTFamiliarity with manufacturing techniques of pipe and plateKnowledge of relevant codes, standards and best practices for pipeline and defect inspectionQualified to minimum Level II in PAUT, TOFD, EC or equivalentAble to review NDT procedures and specificationsValid Driving LicenseWillingness to travel more than 80% throughout the yearAdapt to frequently changing schedules and tight timelinesAble to follow established HSE proceduresHave excellent customer relations skillsWork individually, as well as in a team environment with minimum supervisionOrganization and Time Management skills Our OfferThe function enables you to become part of the ambitious and growing organization that serves the Oil and Gas industry with state-of-the-art technologies.
