WHAT WE'VE GOT GOING ON
Looker is seeking a seasoned finance professional for a unique and exciting opportunity supporting our Sales and Marketing leadership team. The role includes daily business partnering, weekly and quarterly performance analysis, and long term strategy for our go-to-market businesses. You will support a wide range of strategic analysis, decision-making, and management reporting for the business and finance leadership. The individual must be highly analytical, with deep business acumen, process orientation, excellent communications and collaboration skills and a proven track record of synthesizing and simplifying complex issues in a SaaS Enterprise company. The individual’s communication and presentation skills must scale from executive level to individual contributor. This role will manage a team of FP&A individuals aligned in supporting the Sales and Marketing organizations.
WHAT WE NEED YOU TO DO
Partner with, influence, and support the Chief Revenue Officer and Chief Marketing Officer organizations in collaboration with Finance, Sales Operations, People, and Analytics teams
Create processes, systems, and plans that balance short-term and long-term growth
Master key customer metrics, such as LTV, CAC, and Cohort Analysis, driving cross-business partner alignment on key initiatives and goals
Develop and execute on long term growth strategies while meeting short-term financial goals
Manage and forecast QoQ and YoY variances in a quarterly financial process with a mind toward both short term and long term implications
Pro-actively engage in working with the business to make trade-offs; provide objective analytics, reporting and insights
WHAT YOU BRING TO LOOKER
10+ years of progressive finance experience, with several leading a SaaS enterprise go-to-market finance team
Business experience running an enterprise commissions and quota process, from creation and execution to exception management
Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, ASC 606, and related financial principles
Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
Familiar with ERP and Financial Planning Tool capabilities, and knowledge of when systematic vs excel solutions are most efficient
