Summary of Role / Job Description:
High performance individual responsible for providing OPEX functional Leadership in all its work streams (Process Excellence, Operational Excellence, Capability Building) as well as supporting and project managing multiple parallel initiatives across the Employee Service Center (ESC) to achieve efficiency & effectiveness uplift. Responsible for ensuring development and consistent application of OPEX methodology in the ESC, at all levels.
Primary Accountabilities:
Process Excellence (PE)
Interact with key stakeholders to drive and influence process improvements through Process Excellence, Focused Improvements and Kikai (Lean Six Sigma) methodologies
Facilitate OPEX workshops, Lean Six Sigma training, boot camps, problem solving sessions linked to process improvement projects, in accordance to organizational goals and priorities
Responsible for Project Managing successful implementation of OPEX initiatives
Engage functional managers, team leaders and analysts to participate and facilitate working sessions to deliver global process standardization, in partnership with other Global ESC's
Influence the ESC, at all levels, to achieve and sustain a high-performance Process Excellence "Continuous Improvement" culture throughout the organization
Ensure compliance, sustainability and control of improvements implemented across all projects (BPE, Focused Improvement, Kikai).
Enable Functional Managers, Team Leads, and Lean Masters to facilitate working sessions to deliver global process standardization and improvements on prioritized ESC processes and sub-processes through PE.
Monitor the health of the process via support in driving process metrics, organizational design, and scorecard implementation to generate proposed OPEX initiatives.
Ensures compliance and adherence to standards of proper governance of OPEX projects to deliver timely project results.
Quantify, project and report benefits of OPEX projects/initiatives.
Operational Excellence (OE)
Influence the ESC, at all levels, to understand and promote the value of Operational Excellence in terms of efficiency & effectiveness
Responsible for the maintenance of OE playbooks (Performance Management, Onboarding, Academy, Skills Matrix, among others)
Provide leadership support for the implementation and sustainability of all OE initiatives
Capability Building
Responsible for design and execution of OPEX ESC Capability building programs, enabling employees to strengthen the continuous improvement culture within the ESC
Lead the Lean Champions group in all its elements, including coaching and feedback sessions
Provide training to OPEX Analysts and work in partnership with Pull-forwards (change agents from within ESC)
OPEX
Collaborates and cooperates in the creation and implementation of OPEX goals and objectives focusing on quality and on-time delivery of OPEX services/output.
Work in partnership with ESC functional managers and Cross Center OPEX teams.
Ensure close interaction with other ESCs to promote standard approach and methodology application.
Responsible to work with pull-forwards in deploying regional roll-outs.
Communicate OPEX initiatives and accomplishments.
Qualifications:
Must be fluent in spoken & written English
Understanding of OPEX principles and Lean Six Sigma methodology
Proven Project Management skills
Strong Leadership experience
ESC Cross-Functional exposure
Problem Solving & Root Cause Analysis
Excellent communication skills, including leading presentations to large audiences
Ability to work on own initiative, prioritize tasks
