Your new company: Our client is a large public sector organisation, looking to add a passionate and skilled leader to join their senior management team.

Your new role:
This is a critical, senior leadership role, leading the digital and data services team.
The successful candidate will be reporting into the CIO and will have the Infrastructure Manager and Service Delivery Manager reporting into them.

Key responsibilities:

- Strategy, Insight, Change and Transformation:

Define, develop, implement and embed the Digital and Data Services objectives, deliverables
and outcomes, as part of the corporate strategy. Ensuring service improvements to
operational policing and enabling services through digital technologies and data integrity.

- Delivering and Managing Services:

As part of the Enabling Services Transformation Portfolio, develop an agile, modernised, high
performing digital and data function, through understanding the scope, and required
capabilities and services of this function.

- Leadership, Support and Guidance:

Provide visible and effective leadership of the Digital and Data Services function, developing
a performance culture that recognises excellence, support and wellbeing.

- What you'll need to succeed
This role is a pivotal position within the organisation, so the candidate that is successful in their application will be able to demonstrate practical experience working at a senior level in a large scale organisation, leading and developing a digital and data services function through full transformation within an agile environment.

- Qualifications:

Computing Degree or equivalent

Recognised Programme and Project Management qualifications (ITIL/Agile/Prince)

Knowledge of the Home Office/Policing Digital programmes, strategies and codes of practice

Awareness and understanding of industry standard security issues and processes. An understanding of security policy frameworks and ISO27001 would be an advantage.

Awareness and understanding of Data Protection law and regulations.
