The purpose of this role is to lead the development and implementation of an integrated country/cluster HR strategy that partners with the business to identify and achieve strategic business goals. The role will lead the strategic development of the HR function to build our organisational capability for tomorrow's business needs (leveraging the expert network in HR as needed) by creating a high-performance culture of continuous improvement.Job Title:HR Director LATAMJob Description:This role is a critical leadership position leading the HR function for one of our strategic offshore/nearshore cluster (LATAM). With a total population of 1,900 employees, the LATAM region delivers revenues of 95 M US Dollars to the Americas region.This role will report into Ivan Czwan Altobelli, US & LATAM HR Director, with a matrix reporting line to the LATAM CEO.Talent StrategySet and drives the talent strategy for LATAM that supports the One Dentsu business strategy. It will focus on on hiring and retaining top talent, maintaining a positive employee experience, fostering organizational development and growth, and mitigating people-related risks. By establishing mechanisms and processes that support a high-performing culture and working closely with the HR COEs, the US/LATAM CPO will ensure that HR objectives are directly linked to the One Dentsu business objectives.Team/Capability ManagementLeads and Develops the LATAM HR Function. Builds the HR capability across all areas of HR function to deliver the business strategy. Builds a strong high potential HR talent bench at all levels in the function. Continues to drive the transformation of the function with a focus on opportunities for operational efficiency and continuous improvement (Payroll optimization, HR Operating Model, HR processes simplification and automation, Shared Services scope, and offerings growth)Total # of direct reports: 4Business ManagementWork closely with the LATAM ELT to understand the business capabilities within the markets and how to best develop those capabilities through the HR Strategy. Ensures that our business strategies are sustainably supported by optimal levels of people investment and resourcing. Partners closely with Finance colleagues to align people and financial data to understand and support people measurement and decision making. investment in accordance with budget and staff cost ratio principles. Plays a key role in budget and financial planning meetings.Qualifications:Approximately 10 years or of prior experience as an HR Leadership roleSolid experience with HR tools, processes, functions and best industry practices.Experience with HR metrics and analysis.Knowledge of labor legislation in LATAM.Experience leading and overseeing large and complex teams in a global organizationCandidate profile An admired industry leader: recognized as an industry thought leader driving innovation and a proven track record in driving HR transformation and growth.A talent magnet: Known in the industry for identifying, developing and advancing top industry talent.
