Summary of Role / Job Description:
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for providing human resources leadership and support to our Manufacturing Site in Pilar. This includes providing significant consultation and direction regarding our human resources policies and processes. The role interfaces with line plant managers, manufacturing, logistics, procurement, R&D among other relevant internal clients and will provide guidance on employee relations issues, salary administration, performance management, organizational effectiveness, recruitment, compensation, and talent management.
The role reports to the LATAM HR Director, Global Product Supply.
Primary Accountabilities:
Strategically deliver HR services, programs and initiatives aligned with the plant’s business strategy and SCJ´s Human Resources Strategic plan. Act as a business partner, strategic solution provider, advisor, and counselor for the plant leadership team.
Ensure legal compliance and mitigate the Company’s risk through having a robust understanding of most relevant employment laws and follow agreed processes.
Drives the labor relations strategy acting as the main contact and representative with local unions in labor relations issues and agreements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or another related field;
Fluent in English;
5-7 years progressive Human Resources and Business Partner experience;
Experience dealing with Unions;
Strong interpersonal communication, facilitation and presentation skills;
Ethical Practice;
Critical Evaluation and Problem Solving.
