Infrastructure Project Manager

They are seeking a highly motivated Infrastructure Project Manager to provide and assist with the provision of project management services; including technical advice, pre and post contact project management services. The ideal candidate will perform a vital role in the success of various small and large projects.

Responsibilities:
: Provide the preparation of contract documents, competitive tendering and procurement processes from inception to completion.
: Provide technical advice on projects including buildability, traffic management and areas of Engineering input during the ECI stage.
: Promote high standards of design and sustainable construction within all projects.
: Monitor the construction, technical and financial aspects of projects and ensure compliance with technical, financial and legal criteria.
: Maintain contacts within the development and construction industry, keeping updated on market trends and policy changes.

Skills and Experience:
: A proven track record delivering highway schemes as the named Project Manager under the contract.
: A high level of knowledge and proven experience of NEC contracts.
: Understanding of project management.
: Highways England SRN (strategic road network) experience is desirable.
: Solid understanding of Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB) and Manual of Contract Documents for Highway Works (MCHW) would be an advantage.
: Solid understanding of the Technical Approval process.
: NEC Practitioner.
: HNC/HND, degree or diploma qualified (or equivalent) in relevant engineering or Project Management discipline.
