Works closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop dashboards and other visualization tools for the purpose of programmatic improvements.Provides data and reports for internal grant writing and compliance, planning and research Conducts detailed data analysis and creates visualization and presentation materials for the President's Executive Team, college governance councils, and other college groups as appropriate. Participate in the implementation of Business Intelligence tools for the college. Participate in data integrity projects relating to student and finance data. Prepares reports on student demographics, enrollment statistics, faculty workload, course information, and state funding formula-related data.Maintains and manipulates institutional databases for statistical reporting to national, state and local agencies, including Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System, NMHED electronic Data Editing and Reporting system, and Higher Learning Commission.Prepares and submits measures for the Accountability in Government Act, all state funding-related outcome measures, and the New Mexico Independent Community Colleges measures.Prepares data sets for Academic Department Program Review. Provides analysis of enrollments, student and employee success data, satisfaction survey data, and marketing data.Participate in coordination of graduate surveys and graduate employer surveys. Participates in the maintenance of the Planning and Institutional Effectiveness web pages. Adheres to the highest standards governing the accuracy, clarity, and completeness of statistical data received from and/or through the Higher Education Department, Banner, Workday, Cognos, Power BI, Excel, and/or Access.Adheres stringently to SFCC policies and professional practices governing data accuracy and the documentation of data properties, security, and confidentiality.Creates and maintains a secure system for organizing, storing, locating, and recording the contents of specific SFCC data files.Participates in data reporting projects related to institutional finance. Performs related duties as assigned. Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, Social Sciences, or a related field.Five (5) years of experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) or similar scripting language.Equivalent related experience in institutional research, data collection, analysis, and reporting may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis. Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, Social Sciences, or a related field.Five (5) years of experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) or similar scripting language.Equivalent related experience in institutional research, data collection, analysis, and reporting may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.
