Laboratory Technician

Responsibilities : Performs non-routine assignments of substantial variety and complexity.

Directs laboratory projects from set-up through data interpretation and reporting.

Performs calibration of instrumentation within method specific QC requirements.

Performs routine maintenance of instrumentation and troubleshooting on multiple systems.

Compiles data and computes results on a variety of scientific procedures and techniques. Validation of data reported by analysts.

Thorough knowledge of all pertinent protocols and instrumentations in a variety of areas.

Lead and supervise various tasks including method development and data systems.

Develop new methods and modify existing methods to improve techniques, procedures and results to meet client needs and company productivity.

Promotes cooperation and teamwork among staff.
