Serving as the key partner for the Business Unit Manager of the Motion Business for ARG y UY, you will be a vital member of its finance team. You will help to set business strategy in line with wider division and product group strategies and will be responsible of ensuring controlling and financial capabilities are in place for business operations and growth. In this role you will provide key support to the business, ensuring accurate tracking and processing of all transactions. You will translate business strategy into plans and establish measurable targets, evaluate the financial implications of various strategic decisions, identify risks, and recommend actions.
This position reports toSenior Business Controller
Your responsibilities-Contribute to the definition of the business strategy from the financial point of view.-Responsibility of the financial management for a Local Business Line including strong collaboration in the project review / execution process.-Prepare the annual business budget and supervise its evolution and compliance. Prepare the projections that allow visualizing the deviations according to the established budget.-Lead on forecasted of Revenues, operational ebita, and Cash Flow.-Supporting projects on financial aspects. Provides input to negotiations on commercial issues. Providing input in local risk review process, invoices in projects, financial accounting, and reporting. Driving and seeking for optimization of Cash Flow, Revenues and GM contribution.-Participating in opportunity/risk identification, monitoring that all required mitigation actions are timely executed.-Supporting the organization in adherence to corporate governance, integrity, assurance, internal control, group charter, business specific finance directives and instructions.-Establish the procedure and tools necessary to obtain reliable and transparent financial information.-Effectively communicating and interacting within own network and interest groups proactively, whenever possible and needed, creating a fluent and transparent organization, with understanding of procedures and purposes.-Living ABB's core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.Your backgroundBachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or related.At least 10 years of Experience in multinational environment in Business Controlling or Finance rolesPrevious project controlling experience.Excellent knowledge of Processes and tools in Finance, including US GAAP, SOX.Knowledge of Hyperion and SAP (desirable).Advanced English level.More about usFor this position ABB performs pre-employment screening in alignment with local legislation before extending an offer.
