Responsibilities
We are currently seeking a Manager of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) to join our Account team and manage the Latin American Portfolio. The EHS Manager position will be a key member of the Account Team. Periodic travel to various operations sites to investigate events or problems, as well as travel to various meetings may be required (est. 20 travel).

Become the primary point of contact for EHS requirements and activities for the account. Communicate EHS needs and results to the Account Leadership Team
Plan and implement strategic program elements as directed by the Americas EHS Manager (Matrix Manager)
Play a lead role in the continued development and refinement of JLLs H and S culture and training programs on the account.
Maintain accurate records for all governmental EHS requirements in all sites.
In addition to managing the MyDevelopment On:line training requirements, provide some training/presentations as needed on specific topics applicable to the account employees
Support Service Line leads and manage the training program for the account including document creation, tracking and reporting.
Become the primary point of contact implementing the JLL engineering compliance audit program and managing the annual process.
Ensure that EH and S accidents, injuries, near misses/good catches, and other events are captured and the data is managed and reported. Manage the OSHA 301/300 recordkeeping requirements for the account. Also, be the Accounts Administrator for the JLL AIMS (Accident and Incident Management System)
Participate with operating sites as needed to lead or support investigations of serious safety events, the analysis of root cause(s), support/track the implementation of effective corrective actions, and prepare communications to share the lessons:learned from such events across the account operations
Assist in the assurance of compliance with all EHS Sections of the Operations Compliance Program (OCP)
Support the Sr. VP, National Dir. EHS Americas in rolling out new compliance and best management practices programs across the account (and occasionally support JLL:wide EHS activities)
Collaborate with other Jones Lang LaSalle EHS managers to learn best practices and publish best practices developed on client account for benefit of all firm clients.

Qualifications

Degree in safety management, industrial hygiene, environmental science, or relevant field.
Relevant professional certifications a plus
Ideal candidate will have 5 to 8+ years of experience having worked in high tech, manufacturing or R and D environment.
Proven record of success with project management skills for balancing multi:site activities.
Broad based knowledge of Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health regulations in LATAM environment.
Knowledge of LATAM work related laws and regulations.
Very good verbal and written communication skills including fluency in English.
A proven record of making presentations and providing effective training
Ability to effectively and cooperatively interface with peers, colleagues and clients as well as firm leadership
