Manager, Sales Operations About the Business: Revenue Operations mission is to unlock potential for revenue growth by connecting people, processes and data across the entire revenue funnel.
The Commercial Optimization and Tech team works to secure the commercial teams in the regions and globally can do more and sell more in the time they have.
We support the focus on selling across the Travel unit customer journey from lead to order capture. As a digitalization enabler, we provide service and support on tools, processes and data to Travel unit commercial teams. To do so, we partner closely with Revenue Operations teams, and other units across Travel Unit and beyond (Marketing, Legal, Finance, Digital Transformation, Digital & Transformation Services...)
We have a transversal team driving governance/projects and business partner teams working closely with the commercial teams / regions.
Summary of the role: You would be leading the Americas and Global Accounts Business Partner team, covering both Airlines and Travel Sellers customers. This position reports to the Head of Commercial Optimization and Tech in Revenue Operations.
The role has 2 sides to it:
A commercial optimization manager is a key leader for operational excellence and process improvement initiatives. This role is responsible for leading the implementation of improvement projects to positively impact the organization and achieve sustainable results. This individual has high visibility and partner closely with a variety of stakeholders across TU to achieve commercial objectives.
A commercial Technology Manager owns and develops the utilization strategy and common standards for the CRM and other-sales-related tools and technology platform across TU.
In this role you'll: Work collaboratively with the leadership team to ensure transformation initiatives are meeting established objectives, schedules, customer expectations, and budget projections for the region in charge of as Business Partner: all customer profiles commercially managed in Americas (Travel Sellers, Airlines)
Lead strategic initiatives for the region with change management initiatives (policies, processes, methodology and technology) for Sales Force efficiency taking into account impact on all parties involved
Roll out all aspects of projects, including communication / upskilling on new methodologies, processes and technology for Revenue Operations, Commercial team.
Drive innovation and modernization by maintaining an active awareness of current trends and industry developments, to enhance expertise and identify organizational opportunities and priorities and searching for ways to apply innovative approaches, as appropriate, in the projects undertaken
Drive commercial process improvements in the region by identifying process breakdowns and offer improvement suggestions to drive efficiency and effectiveness, including with automation, aligning with the other regions and going through to the implementation and adoption of the amened process
Collect, define and assess requirements for the commercial team in the region to share with the Transversal Team
Participate in the implementation of projects & initiatives across Divisions (e.g. collaboration with Finance, HOS, other)
Manage a team of 6 with activities pertaining to the role such as assisting, guiding and motivating team members in your assigned functions; fixing and follow-up objectives for individuals in line with organizational goals; ensuring the development of your teams based on continuous assessment on needs
Oversee all aspects of Contract Management in scope for the region (all customer profiles commercially managed by the region), including but not limited to:
Oversee CRM team activities in scope (all customer profiles commercially managed by the region) but not limited to i.e. ensure timely and accurate CRM quality of the data
Frequent Interactions: Other business partner teams in Commercial Optimization and Tech, and Other Revenue Operations functions
Finance teams
Digital & Transformation Services teams
Regions and Business Lines teams
About the ideal candidate: 3-5 years experience in sales administration / sales support roles
Team management experience would be an advantage
Bachelor Degree and/or equivalent experience.
Has some knowledge of Amadeus fundamentals: history, business, offer, strategy, technology and organization
Advanced skills in MS Office
CRM / sales administration tools knowledge
English fluent, written and spoken - Additional languages are a plus
Strong communication and leadership skills
Must be able to work hybrid
Ability to travel (Limited Travel required for the role to visit other Americas locations)
The role can be located in either San Paolo, Buenos Aires, or Bogota.
