Ordergroove is looking for an extraordinarily talented, passionate and naturally curious individual to join our Engineering Team. Our Manual Testers are problem solvers who get excited about pushing the boundaries of what we can achieve, love learning and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
We are quickly changing the way people shop online and how online retailers develop customer loyalty. We're looking for a Manual Tester who can help us achieve this goal. This person is responsible for ensuring that our product is being built to spec and with a high level of quality.
This Manual Tester will be expected to deliver detailed reports of bugs on our platform in order to help the development team quickly reproduce and fix them. They will be the last line of defense in our continuous delivery process. Attention to detail and careful documentation are crucial.
As a fast-moving company, Ordergroove ships new features on a regular basis. A Manual Tester with a keen eye and an ability to grasp how different systems interact with each other will be crucial in helping us deliver bug-free improvements to our applications that are being used by some of the biggest names in retail.
What you will be doing:
- You will be the go-to person to assure quality for Ordergroove's subscription platform
- Help define and write manual test cases for new and existing products
- Perform regression testing by following a detailed manual test plan that you will be responsible for maintaining
- Collaborate with an awesome group of highly passionate engineers
Your background:
- 3+ years of manual testing in web application development
- Solid understanding of how to write and maintain a manual test suite
- A good understanding of how to test frontend web applications
- Self-motivated, passionate about quality and able to deliver value while working remotely
- Ability to interface with product and engineering teams to ensure that user stories are covered by existing test suite and new test plans are written when needed
- Ability to turn Acceptance Criteria into into relevant test cases
- Eagerness to break the system by going outside the happy path usage scenarios
Bonus points for:
- Startup and SaaS experience strongly preferred
- Previous eCommerce experience
- 1+ years of experience with QA automation
