The Role As a member of the Migration Advisory team, the Migration Advisory Specialist works with Azul's most important customers, ensuring a smooth and expedited transition to Azul technology. This role requires a broad range of technical skills, careful inter-departmental coordination, and practiced customer focus. What You'll Do (aka Responsibilities)Help customers migrate to Azul technologyAdvise on migration strategy and planningLead troubleshooting sessions and investigationsBe a trusted technical advisor for customersProvide recommendations on best practicesCollaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Customer Support to transition new customersProvide internal updates on customer migrationsMaintain internal knowledge baseReport on migration activityOffer product and tooling recommendations to product managementWhat you bring (aka the Requirements)Maniacal focus on positive customer experienceStrong written and verbal communication skillsOrganized, detail and process orientedFlexible and supportive in a fast moving and changing environmentManage multiple tasks and use good judgment in resolving difficult issuesAnalytical problem solver with ability to work on own initiativeAbility to coordinate across Azul department resources to execute complex customer needsAbility to understand, discuss, and troubleshoot complex, nuanced technical issuesEducation and ExperienceBachelor's degree in computer science or engineering 10+ years technical industry experience 5+ years' experience with customer-facing technical management Extensive Java experience Solid working knowledge of Linux Other platform knowledge (e.g., Windows desktops) Extensive scripting experience Experience with asset management tools (e.g., Flexera) Strong project management skills Java deployment experience Experience with legacy Java technologies (e.g., Applets, Web Start) DevOps skillsWhat we Offer ·Comprehensive compensation and healthcare packages
