Mobile Technology Lead

The POSSIBLE Mobile Technology Lead is responsible for leading all developer levels and teams across disciplines and applications. This position provides oversight for varying levels of project and coaches developers up and through the Senior Developer level. The ideal candidate will have specialized knowledge and experience in the Android platform and possess a deep range of tools for mobile development. Work is performed at the direction of a Technology Director. This position requires strong leadership and an ability to clarify team roles within a project. The most successful individual in this position will be one who can to perform cross-functional team leadership across multiple platforms, staffed with an increasing diversity of project team members.
Responsibilities:
– This role assumes an ability to perform the full scope of work within the Senior Developer role
– Provides leadership for large scale projects
– Mentoring and coaching developers up through the Senior Developer level
– Makes proposals relative to project needs
– Manages technology that supports multiple platforms
– Technical solution consulting for client
– Provide leadership to project team in preparation for ship to store
– Work closely with Technical Architect to accomplish tasks as directed
Skills and experience:
– At least 5 years of experience as a mobile Android Developer
– BA/BS degree with a technology-related major or appropriate combination of education and experience
– Able to provide direction to other developers up to the Senior level
– Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
– High level staffing/resourcing skills
– Able to evaluate technologies brought forward from client
– Able to advocate for scope of work and resource needs
– Able to assist peers in project troubleshooting
Additional Desirable Skills:
– Development experience on the iOS platform
– Experience with high level leadership including mentorship
– Experience developing in Kotlin
– Experience building with Google Cast SDK
