The team is responsible for identity and access management technology monitoring and operations for the corporation.
You will use your infrastructure experience and knowledge to provide authentication and access capabilities which protect Chevron from external and internal cybersecurity threats.
Responsibilities for this position include but not limited to:
o Consults and collaborates with design team members and personnel in other IT function disciplines to monitor, configure and operate identity based access solutions, identifying continuous improvement opportunities, creating new or improved processes and automation to support step changes in identity based access solutions and compliance monitoring.
o Implements processes to maintain the reliability, security and efficiency of IAM asset components across
the enterprise. Collaborates with the Access Management Design team to ensure successful transition of modern technologies to operations.
o Responsible for ensuring compliance and global IT standards for Windows Active Directory, AD LDS, Oracle (OIM) and Microsoft (FIM) Provisioning systems are followed. Follows appropriate change management processes for on-going enhancements and roll out of new capabilities in alignment with Security ALCM Plans.
o Provides operational consulting and support for IAM technologies.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS:
o Occasional after hours and weekend support may be required.
o Required to be on-call cycle.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
o Technical IT Infrastructure Knowledge and experience: This role requires demonstrated knowledge
and proficiency with any or all of the following areas: Microsoft Active Directory, CVX enterprise directory, DNS, DHCP, AD LDS, FIM, OIM, Windows, Linux-UNIX .
o Domain knowledge and experience: Knowledge of Identity and Access management principles and systems on an enterprise scale. Virtual Directories, Federated systems, gateway technologies and other security and access technologies. Knowledge of how to apply these technologies across security zones, domains and forests.
o Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships at all levels with operations, design, projects, vendors, peers, etc.
o Leadership: Problem Solving and ability to accomplish desired results independently with minimal direction in alignment with team goals and security standards.
o Planning and Communication: Communicates in a clear, concise, understandable manner both orally and in writing. Listens carefully and asks questions to understand the views, concerns, and comments of others. Promotes communications in all directions within work groups and between work groups. Encourages open expression of ideas and opinions.
