JOB /SCOPE:
Performs Level 1.5 (standard system changes, periodic and highly:documented activities) operations and project support to existing global designs for the ERP systems (SAP and JDE), including UC4 and GARS/Certification
Provides end:user system support (including SAP ticket dispatching) across the companys global IT operations, communicating with business partner end:users to clarify service request/restoration requirements and concerns
Works closely with partner Level 2 SAP/JDE/GCFIT application support teams and the Global Service Desk to ensure business and SOX compliance requirements are met, ERP systems integrity is notimpaired, and that changes provide for efficient ongoing support
Handles critical MEC activities and support tasks
Works with partner teams to identify and shift left new work scope for business value creation
Champions automation initiatives in partnership with the Level 2 application support organization, leveraging on emerging automation technologies
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Categorizes and prioritizes each request to ensure that adverse impact to business operations is minimized and normal service is restored quickly.
Performs optimization of system resources to improve efficiency/performance.
Works with different teams and IT partners in different parts of the world.
Assists in developing and monitoring service level performance metrics.
Analyzes incident history records and conducts root:cause analysis on system failures that disrupt normal business operations.
Upgrades system quality assurance processes and/or makes application and infrastructure changes to eliminate future incidents.
Aid to develop Standard Operation Procedures and documentation in accordance with the Companys System
The team uses Lean Sigma and project management tools to improve internal processes.
Selection Criteria
Technical Depth and Breadth
Educational background in Information Technology, Management Information Systems or equivalent
Work experience in business processes in the area of Finance, Logistics and/or Human Resources
Experience with at least 1 programming language/delivery platform. C, TSQL or PLSQL, SSIS/SSRS, .NET or Java frameworks, JavaScript, HTML5, Visual Studio Suite, TFS, Git, Jenkins.
Experience in IT development, deployment and support best practices along with an understanding of application support environments.
