Position Purpose & Summary
Leads and provides direction to analysts and indirect staff and oversees all supply chain activities across a regional operation that spans across a BU or large product line. Leads, advises and makes decisions on all major supply chain activities for a medium-size team across a limited subset of the organization with a medium-long term outlook. These activities include supply chain operations, process development, planning & execution, customer & client interaction / business partnership, systems / data management & reporting, and people, talent & budget management.
The position will be located in Venado Tuerto, Sta Fe.
Principal Accountabilities
30% SUPPLY CHAIN OPERATIONS
- Leads and manages execution of centrally owned operational business processes, such as IBP and S&OP; (sales and operations planning), budget cycles, KPI reporting (key performance indicators) and dashboard reporting.
- Provides general leadership and guidance to the development of the delivery process to meet customer demand. Monitors coordination of supply between plants and warehouses across a limited subset of the organization.
20% PROCESS DEVELOPMENT, PLANNING & EXECUTION
- Leads and contributes to a regional team to construct forecasting, demand planning and allocation planning for a medium-long term outlook.
20% CUSTOMER INTERACTION / BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP
- Guides the management of strategic contacts within the commercial team, operations, and Cargill Transportation & Logistics (CTL) to ensure team is managing stakeholders efficiently.
- Utilizing a deep understanding of supply chain practices and procedures, develops a strong understanding of customer needs through building internal and external relationships to provide optimal service to Cargill’s customers. Where appropriate, build relationships with external parties such as consultants and agents.
20% PEOPLE & TALENT MANAGEMENT
- Accountable for performance management, talent development, succession planning and engagement directly and through subordinate supervisors.
10% SYSTEMS / DATA MANAGEMENT
- Evaluates supply and demand calculations for a medium-size team and evaluates complex analyses of the data.
- Reviews and monitors score card and related KPIs within a medium-size team. Ensures team is establishing and maintaining key supply chain metrics.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, Supply Chain or Operations/related field or equivalent experience
Demonstrated experience y across multiple supply chain competencies: Logistics, Demand Management (IBP or S&OP;) Customer Service, etc.
Demonstrated ability to connect functional execution to business strategy
Demonstrated strong communication skills
Demonstrated strong relationship building skills; effectively builds trust across work groups
Demonstrated ability to influence at the senior leadership level of an organization
Able to lead amidst ambiguity and change; able to influence without direct line authority
Demonstrated strategic and analytical skills
Results orientation
Experience in develop people, identify talent and team build expertise
English advanced
Preferred Qualifications
APICs CPIM certification
Portuguese intermediate
Prior supervisor experience and experience developing talent
Prior experience managing multiple projects in Supply Chain
