Tenneco completed the acquisition of Federal-Mogul, a leading global supplier to original equipment manufacturers and the aftermarket. The DRiV division of Tenneco combined the strengths of Tenneco, Federal-Mogul Motorparts and Öhlins Racing to become one of the largest multi-line, multi-brand aftermarket suppliers and one of the largest global original equipment (OE) ride performance and braking suppliers to the aftermarket, light vehicle and commercial vehicle customers. DRiV contributes ~$6B annually to Tennecos global revenue. We are looking for a Plant Manager. The Plant Manager is responsible for directing the business, financial, technical, manufacturing and resource functions of one of our facilities in Argentina. This position supports La Plata, Buenos Aires plant, which supports our aftermarket business. The individual will guide facility in its support of internal and external customer requirements. The Plant Manager will also direct continuous improvement activities (Lean, Kaizen, BOS, TVM, etc.) and coordinate the development of the facilities people, processes and capabilities. The team is ready to act immediately on those candidates who are the best fit for the role. Youll first hear from someone in Talent Acquisition to schedule a phone screen, and then the next step will be a personal interview with our Hiring Manager. RESPONSIBILITIES: Plan and manage all financial aspects of the facility (Annual Operating Plan, capital, etc.) Plan and manage all quality, environmental health and safety compliance and regulator aspects Champion of plant continuous improvement activities (BOS, Lean, TVM, Kaizen) Identify and track key measures to monitor facility/function effectiveness, and set and monitor staff goals and objectives. Drive development of facilities processes and future capabilities Ensure all people and customer requirements are maintained to the highest standard. Employee must perform his/her job within acceptable safety, environmental, quality, productivity and performance standards as outlined in plant policies, handbooks and applicable work instructions. EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field required. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: 7-10 years of related business and managerial experience required. Held various levels of management positions with proven proficiency and effectiveness. Working knowledge of automotive industry and related systems. Proven safety track record with demonstrated improvements in plant safety culture. Ability to engage a diverse workforce. Demonstrated use of Lean Principles to solve problems. Supervisory experience including leading cross-functional teams. Ability to provide guidance and direction to subordinates, including setting performance standards and monitoring performance. Knowledge of ISO and TS Quality Management Systems. Strong business acumen specifically around capital purchases, project management, and annual operating budget planning. Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing strong customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System Strongly Preferred. Strategic leadership with ability to predict and maintain results.
