We are looking for a Patient focused Market Development Manager for our Renal Denervation Business. Renal Denervation is an innovative procedure that helps patients lower blood pressure. The technique targets specific nerves near the kidneys that can become overactive and cause high blood pressure, also known as hypertension. High blood pressure is a global epidemic, affecting one-third of adults. The role is a unique opportunity to play a lead part in bringing forward a medical device with the potential to transform healthcare.

You will be responsible for managing strategic planning, implementation, measurement, and optimization of marketing programs for the patient / consumer. Using research and analysis, the Patient Market Development Consultant is responsible for identifying consumer and patient insights, and developing innovative consumer awareness and conversion programs, patient retention programs, and marketing programs to be implemented globally – directly to patients as well as collaboration with internal Medtronic colleagues. This individual will be a market development champion amongst a wide variety of cross-functional team and external partnerships (patient advocacy groups), and will interact seamlessly with other Marketing partners, as well as other colleagues.

A Day in the Life

•Serve as division expert on patient insights, including identifying future market needs and understanding direct and indirect competition
•Coordinate with internal partners, global colleagues and external vendors to create and execute integrated awareness, conversion and retention strategies and programs
•Collaborate with cross-functional team to develop the therapy’s overall business plans, strategies, objectives and cross-functional tactics to maximize the short and long term potential of global business
•Manage online initiatives for awareness and lead capture to help patients move along in their journey, collaborating with Digital Marketing colleagues
•Work with appropriate functional areas to establish performance metrics and data collection standards for the Marketing programs
•Partner closely with the Field, Physician Marketing team members and other cross-functional team members internally, and manage select programs and relations with Customers and Advocacy organizations externally
•Conduct regular review and prioritization of managed projects with other functional areas to optimally allocate assigned resources to meet therapy objectives
•Ensure alignment of strategies with therapy objectives and strategic plan, globally
•Coordinate global inputs from KOLs and advocacy organizations, field personnel, market research and other marketing staff
•Ensure personal understanding of all quality policy/system items that are personally applicable. Follow all work/quality procedures to ensure quality system compliance and high quality work
Must Have: Minimum Requirements

•Bachelor's Degree
•10+ years of marketing experience in Medical Device, Healthcare, Pharma or Consumer Package Goods Industry (8 years with Masters)
•Market Development experience
•Project Management experience

Nice to Have:

•MBA
•Direct to Consumer marketing experience and / or CPG marketing experience
•Online promotion experience
•Presentation experience to customers and management
•Leadership and motivation skills as demonstrated by a clear record of accomplishment
•Financial planning and analysis (financial & market) skills
