Job Summary

This position will be responsible for managing all product support activities in Argentina. This role will involve providing essential training for OEMs, dealers, and customers in the use and service of Precision Planting products. This job function includes the creation, management, and execution of all warranty policies with an ability to track and monitor the overall impact to the business. This position will document and communicate the necessary standards of product maintenance and health and work with the distribution network to provide world class support. This position will oversee in:season activities including phone support and field visits to ensure that customer needs are handled quickly and carefully. This job will entail understanding product installation quality, field performance quality, and capturing the impact of failures on the agronomic performance of the planter. This position will work closely with the SA engineering lead to provide superior quality and support to new product development as well as product expansion efforts.

Job Responsabilities

Work with OEMs to establish clear product support policies and documentation of issues.
Support the PP dealer network through training, installation/service tools, and careful documentation of issues.
Organize and track all product support claims during the year and communicate findings to the broader organization.
Develop and execute multiple levels of training to certify new dealers in handling our products.
Communicate with US product support teams to be aware of product updates, replacements, and service issues.
Develop better field troubleshooting tools and ways to simplify the product support experience.
Participate in solving difficult technical field issues and oversee successful resolution.
Provide new product development support by writing service manuals and procedures.
Provide support to the agronomic research of new products as well as new product adaptations.
Manage third party contractors involved in providing phone support during the season.

Qualifications

3:5 years of technical or engineering experience
Languages: English (fluent), Spanish (fluent), Portuguese (working)
Ability to influence and make recommendations at all levels of the company
Excellent project management skills:able to lead and manage complex matrix teams
High energy, works proactively and demonstrates flexibility in approach to changing work priorities
Team oriented:ability to motivate and work well with diverse, global and cross:functional teams
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Strong ability to handle conflict and work through difficult business situations
