Main Responsabilities

The Education Manager is responsible for the implementation of the Professional Education trainings for the safe and effective use of J&J products for all medical specialties where J&J Medical plays in the cluster. The Educations Manager is also the liason to the business to capture the Commercial Education needs of the cluster/country and inform those needs to the Regional Education team.

1. The Education Manager:
• Works directly with the Regional and Local marketing teams to assess market opportunities and identify clinical thought leaders. Develops the strategic Professional Education plan to assist marketing teams to drive country business plan goals and an overall adoption of specific procedures, as well as the awareness of the availability of those procedures.
• Responsible for the delivery and execution of ProfEd trainings according with the plan
• Manages and directs Education specialists team of all franchises (Ethicon, DPS and CSS) to drive ongoing procedural adoption rates among surgeons, residents, nurses, physician assistants, and clinical and administrative stakeholders.
• Responsible for implementation ProfEd processes in the cluster/country and for the implementation of tools to drive relevant processes.
• Responsible for the implementation of Follow-up process throughout the cluster/country and Profed Reports.
• Responsible to manage Professional Education budget for the cluster/country of responsibility
• Monitors and maintains high compliance standards in the exchange of services of value that ensure the safe and efficacious use of J&J products.
• Connects with Business Franchise Leaders to capture commercial education needs (sales force training) and direct requests to Regional Education team.

• Medical device industry experience preferred.
• People Management experience preferred.
• Spanish and English – Fluent. Portuguese is a plus
• Ability to access, manipulate and analyze information (excel, dashboards)
• Personal computer software – Windows: word processing, power point, excel, e-mail, etc.
