Job DescriptionThe Program Controls Manager has overall responsibility for implementing and managing project-wide control procedures, and leading operational tasks in the areas of cost and document control in order to meet project performance objectives. The successful candidate will be ensuring that all project data and documents are properly captured and provide "on demand" assistance and performance analysis for management. The candidate will also be required to initiate, manage and update various schedules and data documents to record progress and deal with project controls for multiple construction contracts. The candidate shall develop and maintain project schedules during construction, anticipate and identify schedule delays,and monitor progress daily culminating in monthly reviews that compare actual progress with the original schedule and to report reasons of schedule delays through frequent communicationBasic RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent, from an accredited universityAt least 6 years demonstrable experience with Program Controls for multi contract projects involving both consultants and contractors involved with large infrastructure projects.Experience in Mining / Oil & Gas environment and Projects. Managed project controls on at least one (1) project with a value of over $30 million and containing multiple project componentsExperience with program and project management softwareKey Requirement: Proficient in Oracle Primavera P6 Scheduling and Contract Management Tools.
