Position Description

The HR Director-CAP will take over responsibility to lead HR for Lenovo Central Asia Pacific ( CAP) region and help deliver our strategic aims and operational plans.
CAP Region offers an exciting and challenging career to the HR Director given the complexity and diversity of the region. CAP countries include Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Korea, Philippines and Thailand.
A high level capacity for teamwork is needed to manage the close collaboration with internal Lenovo functions, especially within the CAP region and with Business Leaders. The successful applicant will rely on strong commercial business acumen and presentation skills and his ability to build strong relationships on all hierarchy levels.
Responsibility:
Generate and implement a clear and compelling People strategy to ensure that the CAP Region is equipped from a talent perspective to meet current and future strategic objectives.
Draw on knowledge and experience of HR and talent management systems, processes and best practice to influence organisational direction and strategy and to ensure that statutory obligations in terms of HR practices are met.
Anticipate and plan for potential People challenges and give guidance to the CAP Leadership team and CAP HR team.
Develop and implement the necessary HR and People policies and processes. Continuously monitor, review and update as required in line with employment laws and progressive HR practices. Ensure that these are communicated and implemented, providing any upskilling required.
Oversee, direct and organise the work of the CAP HR team to ensure full ownership of their work and the successful achievement of the People strategic objectives.
Ensure the ongoing identification and development of high potential teams and individuals. Create, implement and manage a clear and comprehensive retention strategy targeted at critical talent.
Ensure successful and consistent Performance Management - enable leaders and employees to set goals aligned to the business strategy and follow an effective process. Upskill managers as necessary to execute this and provide meaningful feedback. Ensure all outcome data is reviewed for performance issues, training and development needs and the identification of top performers.
Drive an amazing Learning and Development Programme in conjunction with AP Learning team to enable individuals to build capabilities in line with business needs and goals
Enable individuals to build and manage their careers within the company by providing career pathing, support and planning.
Work with the CAP Finance Leader and in country Finance team to set and confirm People budget allocation including headcount planning, training and development budgets and market relevant salary reviews. Manage any People related expenditure ensuring alignment with People budget and productivity guidance.
Participate in and drive the implementation of specific projects or ?people' interventions to help align employees with the strategic goals of the business, for example by providing effective change management.
Develop and communicate a compelling Employee Value Proposition for current and potential staff, considering internal communications, benefits and career pathing, as well as building and sustaining a desirable organisational culture.
Leverage HR Analytics and data science for people decision.
Position Requirements
Masters Degree or equivalent in Human Resources / industrial psychology
To qualify, candidates must possess the following:
Bachelor's degree REQUIRED. MBA desirable.
Minimum of 15 years of Human Resource generalist or related experience with 5+ years in
