The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Partner Manager who will have a dedicated focus on assigned partners’ revenue targets and attainment for Spanish South America. The Partner Manager, SSA will establish a robust and sound Channel growth strategy by creating and launching strategic partner development plans including partner programs, tools and communications. This role must be a subject matter expert in the Hitachi Vantara field for assigned partner offerings.

Responsibilities

Channel Management
Grow the overall channel business in the assigned territory
Responsible and accountable for the sales performance of the partner community across the region
Achieve a sales quota assigned to all the partners and help them in the sales activities in order to achieve the goal
Ability to establish strong relationships with partner executives and have the communication and skills needed to drive necessary conversations
Creative mindset to provide creative input on programs to assist with partner growths
Own and manage pipeline for assigned partner(s) in assigned geo(s). Execute gap plans as necessary to meet/exceed assigned targets on a quarterly basis
Drive plans to enable numerous partners throughout the district with trainings and knowledge transfer
Support and facilitate deal activity from configuration through pricing and delivery
Provide reporting information to geo/rvp's for field pipeline build activities
Coordinate with Hitachi Vantara partner's geo lead on weekly forecasting, strategic direction input, and participation in monthly RVP meetings
Recruit and on board new regional system integrator partners in specialized practices. ie SAP expertise, Microsoft hyper v expertise, compute expertise.Qualifications

7+ years in managing Distribution (sell-in/sell-out) business and/or Channel Management
Storage, (san) /networking experience out in the industry for 4+ years
Knowledge of Hitachi Vantara partner base is a plus
Strong leadership, communication, and sales skills
Ability to develop lasting high-level relationships and matrix manage partner's sales organization to benefit Hitachi Vantara sales efforts
Strong presentation and public speaking skills
Ability to call on VP level customers
Ability to prioritize effectively while managing a large geographic territory
Clear understanding of both Hitachi Vantara and partner(s) go to market storage strategy, and the ability to establish and execute a mutually successful joint go-to-market plan
Must be able to work effectively and at a high level in a team environment
Creative attitude in assisting with marketing efforts
