Description
Objective of job • Monitor China regulation/standard development, engage in passenger VAN vehicle relevant regulation/standard drafting process and communicate with key stakeholders;
• Develop and present MB's position on technical regulations with the support from internal stakeholders;
• Interprete China regulation/standard requirement to internal stakeholders (HQ, RD, BMBS, etc.) & support on implementation;
• Take lead or support on administration topics in cased needed
• Support on other regulation topics in case needed
1 China regulation/standard/admin. Rule (Passenger VAN vehicle, NEV safety etc.) monitoring &interpretation:
• Monitoring the development of related rules, regulations and policies
• Participate discussions on the related rules, regulations and policies, and interpret to internal stakeholders (MBAG, MBGC, BMBS,etc)
• Coordinate implementation and compliance of new requirements where applicable together with internal stakeholders
• Raise up potential risk to internal parties on time
• Influent external related parties to obtain a friendly environment for MB products.
2 Build up and maintain coorperation relationship with automotive and industries parties
• Monitoring authorities and governments' action related areas.
• On behalf of MB in related alliance and project team within compliance permission;
• Report to internal relevant departments timely.
• Other jobs may temporarily allocated within team for supporting management
3 Lead/support on regulation project as well as internal cross functional tasks based on business needs.

Qualifications
Qualification o Education
- University degree in mechanical, automotive engineering, E/E or comparable educational background
O Experience
- At least 3-5 years of working experience within automobile industry
- Knowledge of Chinese technical regulations/standards
O Specific Knowledge
- Fluent English and Chinese (written/spoken) and Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Project management skills;
- Team player with open-minded work attitude and ability to adapt to new situations/regulation topics;
- Negotiation/presentation skills and ability to deal with government authorities, as well as internal stakeholders;
- High sense of responsibility & topic ownership
- Ability of fast learning
