Scheduling CoordinatorLocation: Buenos AiresDescriptionThe Scheduling Coordinator compiles project execution requirements into an agreed baseline time schedule in accordance with the Sales and Project Managers expectations.This position will be responsible for:Executing the role of "Schedule Lead" within assigned projectCreating the initial time schedule considering the contractual obligations and the available resourcesGetting agreement to baseline time schedule by all involved partiesIdentifying and providing visibility to critical tasksContinuously monitoring the project execution progress against valid time schedule, and providing timeline scenarios to support decision makingUpdating the schedule on a regular basis and on request by the Project Manager, taking into account also approved change requestsChecking on impact on project's timeline of events occurring during project execution and proposing realistic countermeasuresProviding to and requesting from team members the required informationPro-active communication and coordination with other lead roles, and other stakeholders at an early stage (i.e. status updates, changes, …)Escalate deviations of the project's progress based on the timelineDocumenting lessons learned and share valuable informationRequirementsThe successful candidate should have the minimum qualifications and/or skills:Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related areas.1 to 3years' experience working in Engineering or Project based companies.Prior knowledge and/or practical use of resource forecasting,planning or management is a plus.Excellent communication skills both written and verballyin Spanish andEnglish (B2 level)Excellent organizational skills, detail orientation and analytic thinking skillsAbiliy to work independently at a fast paced and with a high level of urgencyAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the internal team as well as with external clients.
