Basic Qualifications: - 3+ years of professional experience with Python & Javascript - Proficient in tools like Puppeteer or Playwright - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- 3+ years of data platforms experience.
Main Responsibilities: - Build and scale a distributed data platform.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
- The ability to be innovative and grow a data platform.
- Support the development and maintenance of the company's web scraping infrastructure.
- Extract data from various websites and APIs, ensuring data quality and accuracy, and optimizing the scraping process for efficiency.
- Develop and maintain web scraping scripts and tools to extract data from websites and APIs.
- Monitor and troubleshoot scraping processes to ensure data quality and accuracy.
- Optimize scraping scripts for performance and efficiency, considering factors like speed, scalability, and resource - utilization.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest web scraping techniques, tools, and best practices.
