Objective of Job
The applications and connected services of Telematics & Infotainment system are one major strategic and technological target field within our MB passenger cars. The target of cross domain system product management section is to design the competitive Telematics features on system levels based on customer needs and market trend. As section lead of cross domain system product management , responsible for
· Overall system product management which will be introduced into different MB carlines and MB.OS generations
· Work as interface to other departments (RD, BMBS, carlines, etc.) regarding Telematics system product management
· Supervise and support team work progress, adjust task priorities, distribute workload, and ensure timely quality work, reporting to the senior manager in regular basis.
· Support senior manager in team recruitment according to the business needs.
· Mentoring and coaching to team members, enhance team skills and capabilities.
· Prepare and participate in performance evaluations to ensure the team member's development.
· Guide the team in addressing critical topics and issues, working closely with team members to devise effective solutions.
· C oordinate with different stakeholders to drive and deliver best MBOS for our customer
Task Description General Lead section of system product
Conduct overall cross domain system product management Setup cross domain system product management process and PRD standard Cross team coordination Support BU for product development Support project management team for status tracking Task Management Monitoring status and progress of work and making day-to-day adjustments in accordance with established priorities, obtaining assistance from Supervisor as neededEstimating and reporting on expected time of work completion and maintaining work recordsDistributing and balancing workload among employees and assuring timely accomplishment and quality of work People Supervision & Team Development Assisting Supervisor with daily people supervision tasks including but not limited to recruitment, attendance & leave management and Goal Agreement, Appraisal, and Feedback process Providing necessary performance coaching and feedback to team members Reporting to Supervisor on performance, progression and training needs of team members and on disciplinary issues Assisting Supervisor on Section Team employee survey follow-ups and team building topics Training and Coaching to Team Members Instructing team members in tasks and job techniques and making available written instructions and reference materials Giving on the job training to new team member Improving team know-how, answering questions of team members on procedures, policies, directives, etc. Qualifications Qualification Bachelors Degree in electric engineering, software engineering, computer science or similar majors , Master Degree preferred At least 5 years working experience in the Telematics and Infotainment domain Experience of OEM product management area, preferred with experience in development processes and development cycles Profound knowledge of in-car infotainment systems and vehicle development Good knowledge about product conception, design thinking methodology, PRD etc. Good understanding of programming language is a plus Excellent product management skills and problems solving skills Self-responsibility, team player with very good communication skills and presentation skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
