Description
Job Objective The main targets of OTA and MB.OS pre-integration team can be divided into two parts, one as quality gate to ensure that our MB.OS product is OTA capable and provides a smooth E2E OTA customer journey to enable our customer always enjoy the latest MB.OS Product; the second part is Pre-integration test on MB.OS level to trigger early bundle test and discover customer and experience related topics in early development stage. As section lead of OTA and MB.OS pre-integration team, responsible for
- Overall system validation of OTA chain, MCR release which will be introduced into different MB carlines. According to given SW release plans the feature maturity needs to be evaluated and rated for each SW release.
- Lead and build up the MB.OS pre-integration WoW, test strategy.
- Work as interface to other RD department regarding OTA, MCR and MB.OS Preintegration topics.
- Supervise and support team work progress, adjust task priorities, distribute workload, and ensure timely quality work, reporting to the Supervisor in regular basis.
- Support senior manager in team recruitment according to the business needs.
- Mentoring and coaching to team members, enhance team skills and capabilities.
- Prepare and participate in performance evaluations to ensure the team member's development.
- Guide the team in addressing critical topics and issues, working closely with team members to devise effective solutions.
- Coordinate with different stakeholders to drive and deliver best MBOS for our customer
Qualifications
Qualification Education
- Bachelors Degree in electric engineering, software engineering, computer science or similar majors, Master Degree preferred
Experience
- At least 5 years working experience in the Telematics and Infortainment domain
- Experience of OEM development processes and development cycles
Specific Knowledge
- Profound knowledge of in-car infotainment systems and vehicle development
- Deep knowledge in testing and validation processes considering manual and automated testing
- Excellent project management skills and problems solving skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Good command of spoken and written Chinese and English (German as a plus)
