Security Investigator

Description of Duties/Essential Functions Under general supervision, performs responsible research and investigative law enforcement work as a member of the State Police regarding enforcement of state and federal laws relating to the state program; assists higher level investigators and participates in investigations involving financial exploitation abuse, neglect, and other crimes perpetrated against residents residing in Illinois' long-term care facilities; provides routine documentary evidence for use in prosecutable actions.
