Description:We are looking for a Back-End Engineer who has experience in distributed systems and services with Java expertise. Ideal candidate is hands-on, understands the lifecycle of software development (requirements, design, implementation, unit testing, rollout) and is proactive in communication. Responsibilities include working as a team extending security services with additional scenarios to support new end user and admin facing functionality.
Requirements:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Java development, with a proven track record of developing large-scale applications.
Strong knowledge of Java and its ecosystems (Spring Framework3, Microservices, Redis, Kubernetes, etc.).
Experience with front-end technologies such as Angular.
Familiarity with telecommunications technologies, protocols, and standards is highly desirable.
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and best practices.
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, GitLab.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think algorithmically.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Nice to have: Cassandra, Agular, Kafka, API Gateway, JMeter, Swagger/OpenAPI, PlantUML(sequence/flow diagrams), Unix(basic), Postman, SonarQube/Security Scans, Certificate management, Vault/Secret storage/rotation, Eclipse/IntelliJ/VSCode, Jira/Confluence, AppDynamics. Elastic
Job Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-availability applications using Java and related technologies.
Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features and services.
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs, following best practices and coding standards.
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.
Stay up-to-date with new technology trends, applications, and protocols in the telecommunications industry.
