What you will do:
The Quality Assurance Lead will be a key member of the High Power Charging NA Product team. Youwill play a pivotal role in ensuring that our high power charging network aligns with the qualityaspirations of Mercedes-Benz and exciting our customers with best-in-class reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance of customer offering: Introduce a structured QA process for our newand released products by e.g. defining customer success metrics for our product offeringStation Uptime: Monitor the reliability of our stations in close coordination with Operationsand Maintenance and lead troubleshooting sessions to resolve issues quickly.Validation Test Strategy: Define and lead a comprehensive and scalable testing programthat consistently ensures there are no roadblocks in the testing process. Collaborate closelywith product management, engineering, and design to deliver high-quality, innovative, anduser-friendly EV charging solutions.Release Process: Generate test metrics to ensure a best-in-class product before going live.Generate summary reports and data insights to facilitate the release process for new productdevelopments.Product Improvements: Provide constructive feedback in the product development processbased on test data and lead improvement initiatives enhance product performance andcustomer satisfaction.Global Coordination: Collaborate effectively with the Global Charging team based inGermany to ensure alignment of testing strategies, share best practices, and leverage globalresources for quality assurance initiatives. Drive action and accountability across functionalgroups and keep leadership informed of the status of the testing roadmap, critical issues, andrecommendations for continuous improvement. Qualifications Qualifications:
5+ years of experience foundation in electrical or mechanical engineering or technicaldiscipline (Bachelor's minimum), plus quality assurance experience in power electronics andhardware. An advanced degree (MBA, MS) is a plus.Proven track record in test planning and execution from program inception to final validationsign off.Evidence of success in driving innovation and bringing successful products to market.Experience delivering products that have business impact.Understanding of EV charging infrastructure, related technologies, and market dynamics,including relevant customers and complex workflows to inform new opportunities to improvetheir experience.Demonstrates technical and business competencies that drive results and continuousimprovement.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborateeffectively across departments and influence stakeholders at all levels.Capable of operating within a hybrid workforce, which is diverse in every way (includinglocation).Presence to interface with stakeholders, external partners, and customers alike, articulatingideas clearly and compellingly for those with less technical backgrounds.Ability to successfully understand complex technical subjects and work with cross range ofteams including engineering, UX, legal, finance, sales and operations.Passion for sustainability and advancing clean energy initiatives through innovative productsand technologies.Outstanding planning and organizational skills with a focus on customer centricity andoperational excellenceStrong written and verbal communication/presentation skills, with the ability to communicateeffectively across teams and levelsPersonality and Cultural Fit:

The estimated US base salary range for this position is $125,000 - $160,000 annually for employees based within California & New York. In addition to base salary, we offer competitive bonus programs, comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life, 401(K), and paid holidays each calendar year. Individual compensation packages are based on multiple factors such as location, level, role scope, and complexity, as well as additional job-related factors such as skills, experience, and expertise.
