In this role, you will work with a small team of software engineers to build the infrastructure and compute platform that integrates into our partner, Crusoe, cloud. You do not need to be an ML/DL expert to deliver world-class infrastructure, but you do need to be able to quickly obtain a deep technical understanding of new domains. You should enjoy being self-directed and identifying the most important problems to solve as the team matures with standardized tools and processes around stability, observability, and scaling.
As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer you should:
Know your way around bash, Terraform, Python, and/or Chef
Have experience designing large, highly available distributed systems with Kubernetes or Mesos clusters. Even better is experience with GPU workloads on those clusters.
Have experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP
Have expertise debugging problems across the stack, such as networking issues, performance problems, hardware issues or memory leaks
We think you'll find this work really exciting if you:
Want to help build and maintain a new generation of energy-efficient and decentralized computing platform
Have built clusters but have motivation to defy how computing can be performed
Love building large distributed, highly available systems without having to manage complex databases
Enjoy owning things end-to-end and coming up with solutions to yet unsolved problems
Enjoy the cycle of designing and building the next generation computing cluster year after year
What we offer:
A mission-driven A players team and the possibility to build our cloud infrastructure team from scratch
Comprehensive medical insurance, unlimited time off, and other benefits.
Incentive program aligned with long-term company growth.
Opportunities for career growth and learning & development stipend
