EMPLIS is the premier Los Angeles (USA) based Distributed Workforce firm that is trusted by its clients to supply them with best-fit candidates for their open positions. At this point we are hiring for a Sr. Full Stack WordPress Developer, who could be based anywhere in Argentina (remote/ work from home).
THE ROLE
You will work for a successful American creative agency with offices in New York and Los Angeles, which had the privilege of working with some of the largest and most iconic brands and launching over two dozen digital-first brands.
You have a knack for coming up with creative solutions to unique problems and a propensity to write clean and performant code while keeping to deadlines.
You stand out from other developers by your ability to make beautiful designs that come to life through code. You are accustomed with building out modular templates using modern CSS techniques and efficient, modular JavaScript, while taking responsibility for your code’s performance across devices and browsers. You have an eye for detail. You are a team player at heart, and you take pride in your client facing skills. Learning new technologies and tools is your second nature. You are generous when it comes to sharing your knowledge and you are unafraid to take smart risks and push the envelope as you implement designs.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work both autonomously and collaboratively
- Integrate into team settings typically found in a fast-paced agency environment
- Work directly with clients and third-party developers
- Build out modular templates using modern CSS techniques and modular JavaScript
- Take responsibility for the code’s performance across devices and browsers
REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of professional web development experience
- 2+ years of building complex and customized WordPress themes
- Use of modern CSS techniques including pre-processors, critical CSS, and implementing polyfills when necessary
- Documented experience writing clean, readable, well-documented and modular JS
- Previous experience with JS frameworks a plus
- Experience with responsive and cross-browser development and testing
- Concise communication skills (verbal and written)
- Fluent English
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience working with performance measurement and optimization
- Experience with A11y development
- Experience working with design comps in Sketch
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Salary: $75,000.00 to $95,000.00 /month
