Their mission is to bridge the gap that would enable the next wave of enterprises, funds and institutions to operate on-chain in a safe, compliant and efficient way. Our client is looking for a Team Lead / Head of Engineering to join their team in NYC! In this role, you will:Work directly with the CEO and have visibility into all aspects of the companyEngage directly with our customers to iterate and build a best-in-class user experienceWrite code, as we expect our technical leaders to lead by example by being in the trenches with other engineersImplement and enforce engineering and operational best practices. You will set the bar for the engineering team and ensure the team delivers extraordinary resultsBe responsible for the company's technical strategy and vision. BS or MS in computer science, engineering, or other technical degrees5+ years of experience in hands-on software engineering, as well as technical leadership (tech lead or people manager)Experience building technologies in the crypto spaceStrong problem solving skills with experience independently delivering large initiatives end-to-end, from idea to live and adding valueExperience with languages and frameworks such as TypeScript, React, or GraphQLExperience with tools, practices, and programming patterns for ensuring software correctnessFluent in writing design documentation as well as participating in technical discussions and reviews synchronously, asynchronously, in person or remotelyProduct-driven mindset with deep empathy for our customersStrong desire to work at a very early stage startup with interest to take on project from zero to one with collaboration with the rest of the core teamLove working hard and enjoy a fast-paced environment with a delivery-minded mentality: innovate, iterate, and ship fastIntellectually honest and low ego.
