Job Description: We are seeking a strategic and experienced Warehousing & Logistics Lead to oversee our operations in the LATAM region. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and optimizing our warehousing and logistics operations across multiple countries in Latin America. It will play a critical role in developing and executing strategies to drive efficiency, improve service levels, and support business growth in these key markets.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage all aspects of warehousing operations, including inventory management, distribution, and transportation.Oversee the implementation and utilization of warehouse management systems (WMS) to optimize processes and improve visibility.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including international trade, planning, procurement, sales, and finance, to forecast demand, plan inventory levels, and ensure alignment of activities.Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs), carriers, and other vendors to ensure high-quality service and cost-effective solutions.Implement best practices for inventory control, cycle counting, and reconciliation to minimize stockouts, overstock, and obsolescence.Ensure compliance with local regulations across the LATAM region, including proper documentation and reporting.Lead and develop a team of warehousing and logistics professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to enhance their skills and performance.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes in the warehousing and logistics field, and incorporate relevant advancements into our operations.Mandatory Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.Minimum of 5-year-experience in warehousing and logistics management.Proven track record of developing and implementing successful warehousing and logistics strategies in complex, multinational environments.Strong understanding of warehousing operations, inventory management principles, and transportation logistics in the LATAM region.Experience managing relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and other external partners.Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams across diverse cultures and geographies.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and drive continuous improvement.C-Level interaction and reporting.Negotiation and contract management skills.Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to influence and motivate others.Experience defining and implementing operational Dashboards.Cost management and P&L accountability.Service attitude.
