For a leading provider of welding and metal fabrication solutions, we are hiring Welders for permanent on-site jobs in Germany/Austria/Europe. Willingness to relocate to Germany/Austria is required - we provide full visa sponsorship and relocation assistance.Role & responsibilities- Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures- Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements- Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g. cut material with powered saws to match measurements)- Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded- Align components using calipers, rulers etc. and clamp pieces- Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead)- Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps- Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws- Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safetyRequirements- formal education of at least 2 years or an academic degree in a related field- at least 5 years of professional experience as a welder- knowledge of welding processes, welding equipment, blueprint reading, materials and metal types, weld joint preparation and inspection- Flexibility, independence and assertiveness- Systematic, networked way of thinking- Strong communication and teamwork skills- Target-oriented work under pressure- High level of commitment, good motivator and team player- Very good command of English- Prior knowledge of German is a plus, but not mandatory- Willingness to learn GermanBenefits- visa sponsorship if needed- 13th + 14th salary every year (in June and December, you get double the payment)- attractive compensation based on European market standards- at least 5 weeks of paid vacation every year- relocation assistance- full social benefits such as European health insurance- flexible working hours- on-the-job training and continuous opportunities for learning and growth
