Workshop Engineer

Workshop Technician (Engineer/Mechanical). We currently have a position available for a Workshop Technican in a highly successful international manufacturer and service provider of forklits.

The role will be suitable for Engineers from any area of maintenance / service backgrounds including, but not limited to, automotive technicians or exforces engineers.

All specific training can be provided on the products as the company offers comprehensive training enabling you to become highly skilled on a range of forklift trucks. Although qualifications are an advantage, transferable skills and the ability to pick up the specifics are key.

In this role you?ll be responsible for the service and repair of the trucks at a specified location. You?ll receive a list of jobs via laptop and you?ll be focused on both mechanical and electrical/ trucks.

The role also includes working with PDI?s, changing parts and completing any necessary paperwork.

The role in brief:
- Carry out planned maintenance activities on materials handling machinery.

- Workshop based work from Monday to Friday.

- Complete comprehensive training to get fully competent on all machinery and equipment.

- Order spare equipment when needed.

We require a person who:

- Obtains mechanical/electrical PPM and repair skills.

- Can demonstrate excellent communication skills.

- Is eager to learn and work in a team.

- Is IT literate.
