Role Summary: This role will lead the monthly closing and reporting process, including edit checks as 1:1, I/C ILE IME and wrong usage of accounts and TPs. Leading the Flux and Deep dive investigations and analysis with the subregional Op Controllers for the Region, OTR Finance and FP and A.Essential Responsibilities:
This role will report to the Accounting and reporting Sr Manager for AMER and will be encharge of the operational rhythm with Genpact, Account recs process, US Gaap compliance, CBS reviews, GAAP and MAP policies compliance, etc.
Conduct trainings on Transformation and new reporting structures.
Lead quarterly and monthly closing.
Coordinate all the requirements and ensure the proper explanation of all the Regional BalancesLead the Account Recs process: Trainings, assignment, follow up, metrics compliance, quality.Ensure the correct application of GE MAPs and all the accounting policies across the region.
Lead the required trainings.
Support Safari team in the accounting treatment of all the balances affected by the project and all similiar transformation and simplification projetcs.
Coordinate all quality reviews of the Account Recs within GE and Genpacts.
Support and lead all the initiatives related to Account recs for the Region.Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting related discipline from an accredited university or college
CA or CPA.
Minimum of 5 years combined experience in multinational industrial companies.
Excellent communication skills in English.
Proven technical accounting expertise in similar industrial businesses.
Stat to Gaap accounting expertise.
Closing and reporting experienceTreasury policies knowledge.Desired Characteristics:
Ability to anticipate, identify and resolve complex financial issues in Uniform, Hyperion, SAP, Oracle.
Use of ARMERPs and accounting processes knowledge.
Proven management and organizational experience, including coordinating multiple people.
Excellent written / verbal communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
