Description
The Data Engineer in will work on fast paced, result oriented projects to improve the customer satisfaction and timely delivery of vehicles. The responsibilities include -
1. Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture in Azure
2. Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.
3. Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using Azure 'big data' technologies.
4. Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into operational efficiency and other key business performance metrics.
5. Work with stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
Qualifications
1. B.Tech, BE, in Computer Science or a related technical field
2. Python/SQL development experience
3. Databricks & Shell experience
4. SQL experience (No-SQL experience is a plus)
5. experience with schema design and dimensional data modeling
6. experience on Azure & ADF
7. Strong designing, building, and maintaining data processing systems skills
8. Experience in creating bronze, silver and gold architecture
9. Experience building/operating highly available, distributed systems of data extraction, ingestion, and processing of large data sets
10. Demonstrated strength in data modeling and ETL development
11. Experience providing technical leadership and mentoring other engineers for best practices on data engineering
12. Knowledge of software engineering best practices across the development lifecycle, including agile methodologies, coding standards, code reviews, source management, build processes, testing, and operations
13. Mindset and analytical skills to towards continuous improvement and have an edge to always research on latest technologies
14. Passion for building great notification experiences which directly impacts our customers
15. Excellent oral and written communication skills with a keen sense of customer service
16. Basic understanding of Machine Learning
