We're searching for an International Payroll Manager to support our growing business, currently in the LATAM region. This role will be a key contributor in supporting the daily operations of the international payroll team. What you'll do:
Oversee day-to-day activities of the international payroll department to ensure accurate and timely payroll payment processing.Ensure accurate and timely payroll reporting; coordinate problems with staff and other departments regarding payroll discrepancies.Work with the Director of Global Payroll to develop and maintain procedures in the preparation of payroll.Provide functional training to payroll staff.Lead payroll team in responding timely and effectively to inquiries related to payroll, guiding on income taxes, associate garnishments, and pay practices.Partner with the payroll providers to understand tax requirements for new jurisdictions, changes in wage and tax laws, and other regulatory changes that may impact the company payroll and solve any payroll-related issues.Work with People Operations team to ensure accurate benefit deductions and record keeping.Assist the Director of Global Payroll with preparation of documents for internal and external audits.Prepare ad hoc management reports, analyses, and presentations upon request.Participates in payroll related system releases and projects (upgrades or continued implementation) as needed.Drive process improvements and automation to improve efficiencies within workstreams.Other duties as assigned. What you'll need Fluent in English and Spanish required.Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of progressive experience in multi-state Payroll function.+3 years experience directly supervising a payroll team.Knowledge of International Payroll laws, regulations, and requirements; with a focus on LATAM.Experience with CloudPay, ADP Celergo, Papaya, Vistra, or other international payroll vendor required.Strong Microsoft Office skills.Ability to meet project deadlines and prioritize tasks.Ability to function in a highly collaborative environment.Excellent customer service skills with an ability to effectively handle and resolve employee inquiries and issues.Effective verbal, written, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Must demonstrate attention to detail, organizational skills, analytical abilities, and consistent follow-through.Ability to partner with cross-functional teams, including HR, Legal, and Tax.
