Job DescriptionWe are currently offering an opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join us in starting something remarkable as a Production Planning Engineer.
Your contribution to something big:
Monitoring inventory levels, regularly providing production status
updates to management and facilitating the timely delivery of products to customers.Create, modify, organize and manage production schedules according to demand and quality standards.Closely monitor the production process to ensure that production orders are completed on time and within budget.Coordinate production operations in accordance with material, labor, and equipment availability.Analyze back orders, current orders and upcoming orders to prioritize, plan, and schedule the production operations.Determine manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demandInvestigate production problem, analyze root causes and provide solutions.Collaborate with production, quality control, warehouse, engineering, purchasing, sales order management and other staff to minimize delays in production.Evaluate suppliers or quality, timeliness and match according to goalsDetermine parts requirements with the help of IT systems, monitor call-offs, and correct if necessary.Determine or estimate the need for special parts, modifications, customer requests, etc.Obtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of defectives, OTD, performance etc.)QualificationsWhat distinguishes you:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering or related field is preferred.Minimum 5 years experience as production planner.Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles
Experience in MRP II (Manufacturing resource planning)Working knowledge of MS Office and SAP systems,Strong organizational and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication abilitiesStrong regard for product quality and safety standards
