At Randstad we are currently looking fora Sr. Research Analyst - US Equity Strategyto be part of a Global Equity Firm.
The Senior Analyst will work closely with client's team (a leading Investment Bank) to update and maintain databases and research reports about US equity strategy.
Job duties:
- Prepare regular opinion commentaries and reports based on fundamental analysis about US equity markets (S&P 500 index mainly) for a global sell-side bank.
- Prepare / update databases including sector / industry key operating and financial metrics, relative value analysis and historical relative / absolute performance.
- Strong understanding of fundamental equity analysis with an ability to recommend/communicate investment recommendations.
- Regular surveillance of US equity market at an aggregate level (equity indices, ETFs, sectors and industries) by proactively tracking the market and macroeconomic events (including quarterly earnings) and other information sources.
Skills required:
- Bachelor in Economics / Finance / Business Administration / Accountability.
- Masters in Finance (in course) / CFA Level I will be a plus.
- Report writing experience.
- Excellent excel & database management skills.
- VBA and Python basic programming skills.
- Ability to articulate well to clients over phone and email in English (C1).
- Understanding of local & global financial markets and industry dynamics.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Independent and decisive mind set.
Working Model:
Full time - Hybrid model (mixes in-office and remote work during the week)
